Childhood Vaccination Schedule

The Malaysian National Immunisation Programme was introduced in the early 1950s to protect Malaysian children against major childhood diseases like measles, polio, tuberculosis, and hepatitis B.

From birth and throughout their school years, your child will receive mandatory vaccinations. It is also recommended to get additional vaccines, such as the chickenpox vaccine and the annual influenza vaccine, to ensure comprehensive protection.

See below for the full vaccination schedule, which outlines the series of immunisations recommended at specific times throughout your child’s life.
