What is Bronchiolitis
Bronchiolitis is a common lung infection that affects young children, particularly infants. It is caused by inflammation and congestion in the small airways of the lungs (bronchioles), and is typically triggered by viral infections, such as the respiratory syncytial virus (RSV). While most cases are often mild, severe cases may require medical attention to manage breathing difficulties and prevent complications.
