What is Common Cold
The common cold is a viral infection of the upper respiratory tract, typically caused by rhinoviruses. It spreads easily through droplets in the air and contact with contaminated surfaces. While usually mild and often resolving on its own, the common cold can be managed with rest, plenty of fluids, and over-the-counter remedies to alleviate symptoms.
