What is Conjunctivitis (Pink Eye)
Conjunctivitis, or pink eye, is an inflammation of the conjunctiva, the clear and colourless membrane covering the surface of the eye and inner eyelids. This condition can be caused by infections, allergies, or irritants such as dust or chemicals. Treatment for it depends on the type of conjunctivitis, ranging from antibiotics for bacterial infections to antihistamines for allergies.
