What is Dengue Fever
Dengue fever is a viral illness transmitted by Aedes mosquitoes. Most cases are mild and typically last for 2 to 7 days, but severe cases can lead to dengue hemorrhagic fever or dengue shock syndrome, which require immediate medical attention. There is no specific medication to effectively treat a dengue infection or shorten the duration of the illness.
