What is Food Allergy
A food allergy is an immune reaction to a specific food, causing symptoms like hives or stomach pain. In severe cases, it can lead to anaphylaxis, a life-threatening condition that requires immediate treatment. Managing the food allergy involves avoiding the foods that trigger symptoms and being prepared with emergency medication in case the allergen is accidentally consumed.
